What you should know
-- Decide for yourself where you want your repairs done. You have a right to choose which repair facility you use following an accident and while you are free to obtain multiple estimates, you're only required to have one. Understand that the lowest estimate isn't always the best choice, since it might not include all of the parts and repairs necessary to restore your vehicle to new condition.
-- While you're free to do so, it's not necessary to return your vehicle to the dealership for collision repair if it's under the manufacturer's warranty. Vehicle warranties cover only the parts used in the repair process -- body work and refinishing warranties are provided by the repair facility -- and parts warranties are in effect with independent repair facilities as well.
-- If you are involved in an accident, contact your insurance agent before seeking an estimate. If your agent asks you to obtain an estimate, give us a call at 734-1308 or stop in for a fast, free assessment of the damage. If your vehicle isn't drivable, let us know and we can help you make arrangements to transport it here for an estimate.
